It’s one month to go until National Befriending Week when we will be celebrating the dedication of our volunteers and letting our befriendees know that they are remembered and cared about.

Lockdown measures caused by the Coronavirus pandemic have highlighted the detrimental effects of loneliness on health and wellbeing as well as the importance of connection, community and kindness. And this makes Befriending Week even more significant this year.
