Tandem provides one-to-one befriending outside of the home to people in the immediate Oxford area who have been through a period of mental ill-health and are looking to rebuild their lives. We are currently supporting up to 20 befriending partnerships on a weekly basis. We regret that, at present we can only accept referrals of people living in, or very close to, Oxford.
Training for volunteers: We are now looking to train up volunteers in mental health awareness and befriending skills. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer befriender with Tandem please get in touch at: http://firstname.lastname@example.org
Wolf Tamer is a new one woman play about fear, grief, mental illness and love. It is written and performed by Rachel Mae Brady. Tandem is pleased to be a partner in promoting the first performance of this play which will take place in Oxford in February 2018. More details at: Wolf Tamer

Tandem Social Group
In addition to our individual partnerships, some of our befriendees and befrienders participate in a weekly social group that goes to various places of interest in the local area.
