Community Connectors help people who are isolated and lonely to connect with their community through finding activities that they can engage in and which bring them into contact with other people. Some to times referred to as ‘community navigation’ this idea of connecting people with their community is being taken up by a number of organisations around the UK.
Tandem volunteers have been provided with initial training in community connecting and this is something that we are keen to take forward in 2018.
